Service introduction

This service allows customers who will stay overseas for an extended period due to an overseas assignment, study, etc., to store their current phone number and e-mail address until the time of their return at a reasonable price.

Features

  • Phone number and e-mail address can be stored for up to 5 years.
  • At the time of return, a procedure for restarting the service is required to use the phone number and e-mail address again.

Notes

  • Once the storage term is over, the contract is terminated. au mobile phone number and e-mail address become no longer available.
  • This service is not applicable to business e-mail addresses (ooo@xxx.biz.ezweb.ne.jp).
  • While the service is temporarily suspended, all rate discount services and Monthly Discount are not applied. Monthly Discount will be applied again if an application for restarting the service is made within an applicable period of Monthly Discount and the applicable conditions are satisfied.
  • During a contract period of the 2-year contract, 1-year contract (New applications no longer accepted on August 24, 2015), and Smile-heart Discount, the payment of the contract cancellation fee is deferred. While the payment of the contract cancellation fee is deferred, the contract cancellation fee may be requested under the following circumstances: a contract is cancelled; a contract for the 2-year contract, 1-year contract or Smile-heart Discount is not made when an application for restarting the service is made; and a user made a contract for the 2-year contract the service is temporarily suspended, and makes a contract for 1-year contract when an application for restarting the service is made (Note that, however, the contract cancellation fee is not required if the contract is cancelled in accordance with the termination of 5-year contract term.).
  • During the contract period of the Full Support Course, the cancellation fees will be charged according to the number of the contracted months of the Full Support Course.
  • Keitai Guarantee Service, Keitai Guarantee Service Plus, HOME SPOT CUBE, au BOX, au Simple Payment, au Collective Payment Service, and contents contract with EZ paid information service will be all cancelled.
  • When the Wi-Fi HOME SPOT service is automatically cancelled due to the suspension of the service partway through a usage month of Wi-Fi HOME SPOT, the discount is deemed to terminate at the end of the previous month.
  • If a user has made a contact of the following services and temporarily suspends the service partway through a month, the payment of a flat rate for one month is required: packet communications charges discount services, IS NET (if applicable), Call Designation Discount, Call Designation Flat Rate, au Incoming Call Business Rate, Call Wide, and Tethering Option.
