Note that the maximum communication speed is not the actual communication speed, but the maximum value based on the technical standards. The actual speed may fall substantially short of the maximum for various reasons including the customer's communication environment and traffic conditions even within service areas, or there may be cases where communication is not available at all. Communication speeds also depend on the capabilities of devices. The communication speed is the maximum communication speed within technological standards at the time this is printed and may change from this point on, with reduction in speed included as a possibility.
