I would like to know how to change the contract holder from a parent to a child

If your child is a junior high school or older, you can change the contract holder’s name.

If your child is in elementary school or younger, the name cannot be changed to their name.

In the transfer procedure, some services may not be carried over.
If you have merged your au IDs, it will be automatically separated, and a new au ID will be issued to the transferee.
The au PAY card, au PAY Prepaid Card, and au PAY balance currently used by the guardian with parental authority will not be carried over.
The usage limit for au Easy Payment (combined with the mobile monthly bill) will not be carried over.
Any paid content that the guardian has applied for or contracted must be canceled by the guardian themselves.

Both the guardian with parental authority (transferor) and the child (transferee) must visit an au shop/au Style.
Please be sure to bring the Parental Consent Form with you.
The procedure is not accepted via My au (web) or by phone.

If the transferor is unable to visit the shop, the transferee can complete the procedure by bringing the transferor's power of attorney and identity verification document (copies are accepted).
Depending on the procedure, some services may not be transferable.
