You can apply on the au Email Portability web page.
Please check the following for the application procedure.
Access the au Email Portability page on the device you will be using for this feature.
Tap on "New Application" [新規お申し込み].
Enter the au ID of the email address that you are applying for and tap on "Next" [次へ].
If this screen does not appear, proceed to step 5.
Enter your password and tap on "Log In" [ログイン].
Enter the email address you want to set for your au ID and tap on "Change au ID (Agree and Send Confirmation Code)" [au IDを変更する(同意し確認コード (Verification code) を送信)].
Enter the "Verification Code" [確認コード] received from auto@connect.auone.jp and tap on "Next" [次へ].
Tap on "Change au ID and Proceed" [au IDを変更して次へ] .
If this screen appears, tap on "Agree" [同意する].
If this screen appears, select the email address you want to apply for au Email Portability and tap on "Proceed Next" [次へ進む] .
If this screen does not appear, proceed to step 10.
Check the Terms and Conditions and check "I agree to the Terms and Conditions" [利用規約に同意する] .
Tap on "Apply for au Email Portability" [auメール持ち運びに申し込む].
Next, set up your payment with au PAY (au Easy Payment). Please proceed with the items that match your situation in STEP2.
To set up au PAY (au Easy Payment), follow the steps for applying for the au Email Portability service, then enter the verification code you will receive via text message (SMS).
For details, please refer to the information below.
Please tap on "Agree" [同意する].
Tap on the received text message [SMS] to open it.
Check the "verification code" [確認コード] and return to the "Service Usage Confirmation" [ご利用内容の確認] page.
Enter the "verification code" [確認コード] and tap on "Register" [登録する].
Next, set up the email app. Proceed to STEP3.
To set up au PAY (au Easy Payment), please register your customer information after following the application steps for the au Email Portability service.

Tap on "Agree" [同意する] .
Enter your "customer information" [お客さま情報] and tap on "Set" [設定する].
Tap on "Set" [設定する].
Enter the "verification code" [確認コード] and tap on "Set" [設定する].
Tap on "Next" [次へ].
Enter your credit card number and the security code, and tap on "Register" [登録する].
Next, set up the email app. Proceed to STEP3.

Enter your "customer information" [お客さま情報] , and tap on "Set" [設定する].
Tap on "Set" [設定する].
Enter the "verification code" [確認コード] and tap on "Set" [設定する].
Tap on "Next" [次へ] .
Enter your credit card number and the security code, and tap on "Register" [登録する].
Next, set up the email app. Proceed to STEP3.
You can set it up by installing a profile.

The application for "au Email Portability" [auメール持ち運び] was completed up to STEP2.
Next, proceed with the "Email App" [メールアプリ] setup. Tap on "iPhone Standard Mail App" [iPhone 標準メールアプリ].
If you need to reconfigure the "iPhone Standard Email App" [iPhone 標準メールアプリ], log in to the au Email Portability My Page, tap on"メールアプリの設定" [Email App Settings], and then tap on "iPhone Standard Email App" [iPhone 標準メールアプリ].
Tap on "Download Profile" [プロファイルをダウンロードする].
Tap on "Allow" [許可].
Tap on "Close" [閉じる].
Instructions for email settings (steps 1 to 3) will be displayed.
Return to the home screen.
Tap on "Settings" [設定アプリ].
Tap on "Downloaded Profile" [ダウンロード済みのプロファイル].
Tap on "Install" [インストール].
If you have set a passcode, enter it.
Tap on "Install" [インストール].
Tap on "Install" [インストール].
Tap on "Complete" [完了].
The settings are now completed.
If you want to set up a second or more email addresses after applying for au Email Portability, you will need to set it up manually.
Please refer to the following for the setup instructions.
On the au Email portability application completion screen, tap on "Confirm ID and password required for email setting" [メール設定に必要な・ID パスワードを確認する].
Or, after logging in to the My page of "au Email portability" [auメール持ち運び] , tap on "Mail App Settings" [メールアプリの設定] and then tap on "Check ID and password needed for mail setting" [メール設定に必要な ID・パスワードを確認する].
Take note of the information needed for manual setup of "Email Settings Information" [メール設定情報] and return to the home screen.
Tap on "Settings" [設定].
Tap on "Mail" [メール].
Tap on "Account" [アカウント].
Tap on "Add Account" [アカウントを追加].
Tap on "Others" [その他].
Enter your name (any name), the email address you want to register, and the password noted in step 2.
Select [IMAP] and enter the items you noted in step 2.
Tap on "Save" [保存].
The setting is now completed.
Please confirm that two mailboxes are receiving emails in the email app.
