How much is the repair cost if I am subscribed to Repair and Delivery Support with AppleCare Services & iCloud+?

Repair/Replacement Cost (during policy period)

Eligible devices

Hardware product warranty for iPhone/iPad main unit, battery, and included earphones and accessories.

Number of claims

We provide coverage for repair services up to twice a year for damage caused by negligence or accidents (such as drops or liquid contact).

Damage types and repair costs

  • Natural failure:0 yen
  • Battery replacement:0 yen
    • Available when the battery retains less than 80% of its original capacity
  • Screen damage:3,700 yen (tax included)
  • Repair of back glass only (for iPhone 12/13/14/15 models only): ¥3,700 (tax included)
  • Other damages:12,900 yen (tax included)
  • The service fee for iPad repair is 4,400 yen (including tax) for screen damage and other damages
  • The service fee for Apple Pencil and Apple iPad keyboard is 3,700 yen (including tax)

Repair/Replacement Methods

Carry-in Repair

Please bring it to the nearest Apple Store or an Apple authorized service provider. An Apple expert will assist you.

Mail-in Repair (Pickup & Delivery Repair)

An Apple-designated service provider will come to pick up your device. After diagnosing the product, they will deliver the repaired device, or a replacement based on the diagnosis results. Please contact Apple Support to apply.

Device Replacement (Express Replacement Service)

The replacement device (main unit and accessories) will be delivered within a few days of your application. Please contact Apple Support to apply.

au iPhone/iPad In-Store Repair service

You can use the repair support and repair referral services for iPhone and iPad at au Style/au shop.
