I would like to change the address registered for my au/UQ mobile phone or smartphone

You can change the contract address and billing address of your au phone through My au (Web).

Please see below for detailed instructions.

Important notes

  • If you have a phone contract with au, UQ mobile or povo1.0 mobile, you cannot complete the procedure on a PC.

    Please turn off the Wi-Fi connection on your applicable mobile phone or smartphone before proceeding.

  • Two-step verification using the My au app is required to complete the address change procedure. Please update the My au app to the latest version before proceeding.
  • If the contract holder and the billing holder are different, changing the billing address will require a postal procedure, and we will send you the necessary documents.

    After obtaining the consent of the billing holder, the contract holder should select "Change billing address" [請求先住所の変更] on the address change screen of My au (Web), and request the change form via the "Application Form Mail Service" [申込書郵送サービス].

    Enter the 4-digit PIN code set when you signed the contract, then tap on "Next" [次へ].

    Tap on the procedure you wish to complete, and after confirming the selection, tap on "Next" [次へ].

    • As an example, we will guide you through the steps to change only the contract address.

    Enter your new zip code and tap on "Next" [次へ].

  • 5

    Enter your new address and contact information, then tap on "Next" [次へ].

  • 6

    Confirm the changes and tap on "Apply with this information" [この内容で申し込む].

    The procedure is now complete.

For your reference

  • If you change your address on My au (Web), the information will be updated from the next day onwards.
  • If you are set up to receive monthly paper bills, they will be sent to your new address from the following month.

    If you change your address at the beginning of the month, your bills may be delivered to your new address starting from the same month.

  • If you are using services such as au Hikari, au Denki, gas, au PAY Card, au PAY Market, or au Jibun Bank, you will need to complete separate procedures.
