I would like to switch the line for a device/eSIM/SIM card that I contracted through an online shop

You can complete this procedure via the "Order History" [ご注文履歴] page of our online shop or by phone.

If you are upgrading your device, switching from povo1.0, switching from another carrier/povo2.0, or transferring from UQ mobile, you will be able to use the au network by completing the line switching procedure.

Business hours and the procedure required after switching vary depending on the type of SIM (eSIM/SIM card) and the specific procedure required.

  1. Your "Order Number" [ご注文番号] and password for checking your order history 「ご注文履歴の確認用パスワード」are included in the "Order Confirmation" [ご注文内容の確認] email.

    For customers with reservations, please enter your "Reservation Number" [予約番号] and the password (8-20 half-width alphanumeric characters) you set when making your reservation.

  3. This applies only when picking up products at Lawson, lockers, or post offices.

Customers with an eSIM contract

Procedure Flow

  1. Switch your line via the "Order History Page" [ご注文履歴ページ] on our online shop or by phone
  2. Download eSIM profile
  3. Delete eSIM profiles used with other carriers (for eligible customers only)
  4. Make a test call

Customers with a SIM card contract

Procedure Flow

  1. Switch your line via the "Order History Page" [ご注文履歴ページ] on our online shop or by phone
  2. Turn off the power to both your old device and your new device and wait for about 30 minutes
  3. Insert the SIM card into the new device and turn it on
  4. Set up the access point (for eligible customers only)
  5. Delete eSIM profiles used with other carriers (for eligible customers only)
  6. Make a test call
