【au PAY Prepaid Card】How to reissue your au PAY Prepaid Card

You can request a reissue in about 5 minutes by selecting the reason for reissuance on the "au PAY website" [au PAY サイト] and following the on-screen instructions.

After you apply, the new card will be delivered to your registered shipping address in approximately 10 to 15 days.

Important notes

  • There is a reissue fee of 600 yen (including tax). The fee will be deducted from your au PAY balance, so please top up your balance in advance.
  • After the reissue procedure, your old card and card information (including information registered with other payment services such as Apple Pay and Google Pay) will no longer be available for use. Please discard your old card after cutting it up with scissors.
  • You cannot do the procedure while your au PAY/au PAY Prepaid Card is suspended. Please request a reissue after the suspension is lifted.

Steps

    Access the "au PAY website" [au PAY サイト] and log in with your au ID.

    • If the login screen does not appear, proceed to Step 2.

    Select the "Reason for the reissue" [再発行理由] and tap on it.

    • The steps below show an example of the screens displayed when "Lost / Stolen" [紛失・盗難] is selected.

    Tap on "Card Suspension & Reissue" [カード停止・再発行].

    Review the card information and notices, then tap on "Reissue Card" [カードを再発行する].

    Select the delivery address and tap on "Next" [次へ].

    Set a PIN for your card and tap on "Next" [次へ].

    Tap on the "Checkbox" [チェックボックス] to "Agree to the notes" [注意事項に同意する], and once checked, tap on [OK].

    The application is now complete.
