I would like to know how to make payments and check the billing amount after I cancel my au/UQ mobile(5G compatible plan)contract.

Even after cancelling your au or UQ mobile(5G compatible plan)contract, you will continue to be billed with the same payment method as during your au contract. Also, the billing amount can be checked through My au/My UQ mobile.

  • This page provides information in cases where au IDs are not merged (one au ID has only one au/UQ mobile contract registered).

How to check the billing amount after cancelling au/UQ mobile (5G compatible plan)

For those whose au ID was a mobile phone number type, same as the contract phone number

  • 1
    • If you have been logged in from before cancelling your contract, please log out once.
  • 2

Login using your au ID and password.

  • 3

Enter the registered email address, then tap on "Change au ID (Agree to the terms and conditions to receive confirmation code" [au IDを変更する(利用規約に同意し確認コードを送信)].

    • Register an email address where you can be reached (email addresses with domain 'ezweb.ne.jp' and 'au.com', which were in use during the au contract cannot be registered).
  • 4

You will receive a confirmation email in the email address you input in step 3. Enter the 'confirmation code' given in the email and tap on "Next" [ 次へ ].

  • 5

Tap on "Change ID and Next" [IDを変更して次へ].

  • 6

My au/My UQ mobile top page will be displayed, where you can confirm your bill amount in the same way as when you had au/ UQ mobile(5G compatible plan)contract.

  • 7

From the next login onwards, you can use your email address as your au ID.

For those who were using au ID other than mobile phone number type

You can access " My au / My UQ mobile " with the same au ID and password as before the cancellation and check your billing amount.

The confirmation method is the same as at the time of your au/UQ mobile (5G compatible plan) contract.

Payments after cancellation of your au/UQ mobile (5G compatible plan) contract.

<Payment method>

au/UQ mobile (5G compatible plan) usage fees for the month of cancellation will be charged on the following month. The payment method will continue to be the same one used during your au contract.

Payment by paper bill (invoice)

Please make a payment using the transfer form sent to your billing address.

Direct debit from bank account/credit card

Payment will be deducted from the bank account or credit card designated at the time of your contract.

<For those who are still charged even after cancellation>

  • About au Denki

With au Denki, you will have payments for two months after cancellation as you are charged for the usage in the second month following the actual usage month.

  • If there is still payment remaining after more than three months from the cancellation

There are three points to consider. Please check the details by tapping on the applicable items.

①There are still installments left for devices such as smartphones and mobile phones

We will continue to bill only for the installments.

If you wish to pay off the installments in full after cancellation, please contact our customer center.

  • In the case where the status of non-payment continues for a mobile phone or similar purchased by installments, there may be cases where we bill the remaining installment amount in a lump sum. Also, we notify unsettled billing information to designated credit information agencies. This may affect screenings when applying for new credits and loans.

②A contract for data transmission devices (Wi-Fi routers) or Qua stations remains ( au only )

You may still have a contract you signed in the past of a device that you left unused.

Data transmission devices (Wi-Fi routers), Qua stations and other similar devices are considered contracts as they are communication devices with a phone number assigned.

If the bill was bundled together with a cancelled smartphone / mobile phone, you can check the phone number of a device that is no longer in use, using the au ID and password from the cancelled smartphone/mobile phone on My au (web).

③Charges for au Smart Pass / au Smart Pass Premium remain

au Smart Pass / au Smart Pass Premium service may be continuing.

au Smart Pass is 409 yen (tax included), and au Smart Pass Premium is 548 yen (tax included).

Non-au/non-UQ mobile customers can also use the service, but if you wish to cancel, please refer to the page below.

In case you cannot find the applicable amount even after verifying the possibilities considered, or if it does not apply to any of the above and you are the contract holder, please contact the customer service.

  • All of the indicated amounts exclude tax unless otherwise specified.
