I would like to check my billing payment status on the web

You can check the status of your payment on the "Payment Status/Payment screen" [お支払い状況の確認/お支払い] of My au (Web).

Please check the steps below for details.

How to view "Payment Status" [お支払い状況] section

For Direct Debit (bank account)

  • Before the payment: "Direct debit scheduled (Direct debit date)" [口座振替予定(口座振替日)]
  • After the payment: "Paid" [お支払い済]
  • If the payment due date has passed: "Unpaid" [未払い]
  • If part of the payment has been confirmed: "Partially Paid" [一部お支払い済み]

For Credit Card

  • Before the payment: "Billed by credit card company" [クレジットカード会社よりご請求]
  • After the payment: "Billed by credit card company" [クレジットカード会社よりご請求]
  • If the payment due date has passed: "Unpaid" [未払い]
  • If part of the payment has been confirmed: "Billed by credit card company" [クレジットカード会社よりご請求]
  • Since it is billed by the credit card company, please contact them for details of your payment status.

If you are unable to make a payment using your registered credit card due to expiration date, etc.

  • Before the payment: "Unpaid (Payment Due Date)" [未払い (お支払い期日)]
  • After the payment: "Paid" [お支払い済み]

For Paper bill (invoice)

  • Before the payment: "Unpaid (Payment Due Date)" [未払い (お支払い期日)]
  • After the payment: "Paid" [お支払い済]
  • If the payment due date has passed: "Unpaid" [未払い]
  • If part of the payment has been confirmed: "Partially Paid" [一部お支払い済み]

    The "Payment Status/Payment" [お支払い状況の確認/お支払い] screen will be displayed.

    1. This will be displayed if you have an unpaid balance of 1 yen or more.

      Clicking the "Payment Screen" [お支払い画面] link will take you to the "Pay Now Screen" [今すぐ支払う画面].

    2. It will be displayed if a payment has been made in the last two days.
    3. Clicking on the billing date, you will be redirected to the WEB de Billing charges breakdown page.
    4. The text displayed will depend on your "Payment method" [お支払い方法] and "Payment status" [お支払い状況] (as of the previous day).

For your reference

  • If the billed amount is less than 0 yen, the amount will be displayed as「-」. For details, please check WEB de Billing.
  • If the message "There are no charges you can check on this site" [本サイトでご確認いただける料金はありません] is displayed, please wait until the payment status is reflected.
  • Depending on the method of payment, it may take time to receive information from financial institutions and credit card companies. Please also check the bankbook or transaction status screen of your financial institution.

    Launch the "My au" app and log in with your au ID.

    Tap on "Total Billing Amount for ○ Month" [○月のご請求額合計].

    Scroll down the "Total Billing Amount" [ご請求額合計] screen and tap on "Check Payment Status and Payment" [支払状況の確認・支払い].

    The "Payment Status/Payment" [お支払い状況の確認/お支払い] screen will be displayed.
