Error code MPLE0027

【au Easy Payment】I would like to know why the error code MPLE0027 appears and I cannot use the service

This error is related to the method of payment. Please check below for how to deal with it.

How to deal with it: Select a different method of payment on au Easy Payment

  • You can use au Easy Payment by selecting another method of payment (credit card, au Pay balance, au PAY card) instead of combined payment of data transmission charges as the method of payment for your au Easy Payment usage.
  • If you wish to charge your au PAY balance immediately, please choose a charging method other than au Easy Payment.

How to deal with it: Change your monthly au bill method of payment

  • If you change your monthly au bill method of payment to a credit card accepted on au Easy Payment or direct debit from a bank account, you will be able to use the service from the day after the procedure for changing.
  • If the procedure is done by mail, it will take longer to complete.

If you cannot use it at the Lottery official website

  • When purchasing online at the Lottery official website, you can choose au Easy Payment as your method of payment.
  • Only customers who pay their data transmission charges by direct debit from bank account or credit card are eligible.

  • There is a possibility of encountering the limit error if you attempt to use the service early in the morning . Please use au Easy Payment after the 2nd of the following month.

  • If the usage limit or the charge limit of au Easy Payment falls below 1,000 yen within the month, you will not be able to use au Easy Payment to charge your au PAY balance (au WALLET balance) for the rest of the month.

Error code MPLE0140

The MPLE0140 (Usage limit exceeded for each service group and product type) error code is displayed when you have exceeded the au PAY balance charge usage limit from au Easy Payment or if your contract does not allow charging from au Easy Payment.

Please use the service in the following month or use another charging methods.

Important notes

  • The limit is reset sequentially for each customer on the 1st of every month.
  • There is a possibility of encountering the limit error if you attempt to use the service early in the morning. Please use au Easy Payment after the 2nd of the following month.

Reason: Contract that does not allow charging from au Easy Payment

The following customers cannot charge from au Easy Payment.

  • Customers who are a minor and have set their monthly method of payment to paper bill (invoice).
  • Customers who have set their monthly method of payment to paper bill (invoice) and is subscribed for less than 7 months.
  • Customers who have set their monthly method of payment to a non-eligible credit card. 

Please consider using other charging methods or change your monthly au payment method to bank account transfer or an eligible credit card.

For your reference

  • In the au Easy Payment, there is a usage limit as well as a separate usage limit for charging the au PAY balance.
  • Once you have used up the charge usage limit of au PAY balance, you will not be able to use au Easy Payment to charge it for the rest of the month.
  • The charge limit for au Easy Payment is set based on your payment and usage status and contract details.
  • You cannot change it by yourself.

Error code MPLE0141

This code appears if you are a registered user of an au contract linked to your au ID.

If the contract holder and the user are different, au Easy Payment (au PAY balance payment/au PAY card payment) cannot be used.

When using au Easy Payment, please select a method of payment other than au PAY balance payment/au PAY card payment.

This error code appears if your au contract has been terminated.

Please check your account status on the Google Help website or App Store and try changing or resetting the account on your device, as well as resetting carrier billing.

For payment with Google account/Apple ID, please see below

  • Errors caused by device settings.

    (Error that occurs when trying to use Google Play/App store, etc. after cancelling with au)

  • This occurs if the Google account/Apple ID before the transfer is retained on the device (device-Google origin).
    • The account before the transfer will be treated as canceled and an authentication error will be displayed.

Please check your account status on Google/Apple, change or reset the account on your device, and reset the carrier billing settings.

Error code MPLE2025

We could not confirm the payment of your charges by the due date, and thus, the use of au Easy Payment has been temporarily suspended.
