After I have changed my plan, when will the new plan take effect?

The new plan will apply from the 1st of the month following the date of the change procedure.

For example, if you do the change procedure in March, the new plan will be applied from April 1st, and the charges will apply from your May bill.

If you change your plan at the same time as upgrading your model/adding a device, the new plan will apply from the day of application.

You can check the status of your plan on My au (Web).

Important notes

  • My au does not reflect the latest information on the 1st of every month. Please check your plan at "This month" section after 9:00 a.m. on the 2nd day of the following month of your procedure.
  • If you do the procedure through My au during the last two days of the month (especially after 8:00 p.m. on the last day of the month), the change may not take effect until the month after next.
  • All of the indicated amounts exclude tax unless otherwise specified.
