【Ponta Pass / Ponta Pass Light】 I would like to know how to cancel it

If you are using au, you can complete the procedure on My au (Web).

Please see below for the instructions.

Important notes

  • This page uses images from My au (Web) to explain, but the same operations can be performed on My UQ mobile (Web).
  • After cancelling, the storage capacity of the "Data Storage app" [データお預かりアプリ] will change from 50 GB to 1 GB (or to 0 GB for customers with lines other than au). Any stored data exceeding this limit will be retained for 30 days after cancelling and then deleted, so please check your data before cancelling.
  • If you cancel after the free trial period, the full monthly fee for the month in which you completed the procedure will be charged as your final payment in the following month. If billing continues beyond the second month after your cancellation, please check the following.

    Tap on "Ponta Pass" [Pontaパス].

    Tap on "Proceed with Cancellation" [退会のお手続き].

  • 4

    Confirm the services that will become unavailable and tap on "Cancel" [退会する].

    After reviewing the important notes shown, tap on "Cancel" [退会する].

  • 6

     Check the reason for cancellation.

  • 7

    Tap on "Submit" [回答する].

    • You may be prompted to enter your 4-digit PIN code.

    The cancellation procedure is now complete.

For your reference

  • If you are using the Ponta Pass included in your plan and wish to cancel your Ponta Pass due to changing to a different plan, canceling your contract, or switching to another carrier, you will need to complete the cancellation procedure for the Ponta Pass.
  • Customers who are not using au can complete the procedures on the page "Subscribe to / Unsubscribe from Various Services" [各種サービス入会・退会]. After logging in with your au ID, tap on the button "Cancel Ponta Pass / Ponta Pass Light" [Pontaパス/Pontaパス ライトの退会] to continue with the process.
