Can I upgrade my device even if I have remaining installment amount?
Yes, you can upgrade your device even if there is remaining installment amount.
However, the number of devices that can be purchased in installments is up to a total of 3 devices per communication service contract (= 1 phone number).
The remaining installment amount can be checked in the WEB de Billing on My au (Web).
Please see below for how to check the remaining installment amount.
Important notes
- This page uses images from My au (Web) to explain, but the same operations can be performed on My UQ mobile (Web).
- You cannot purchase a new device in installments within 6 months including the month of purchase of your current device. (You can purchase a new device with a lump sum payment)

Select the phone number you want to check.
- If you purchase a device without an au line contract, it will be displayed as "Device Charges" [機器代金].

Tap on "Select" [選択].

Enter your PIN and tap on "Next" [次へ].
- It may not be displayed.

The screen showing the charges breakdown will be displayed.
Tap on the au phone number in the "au Device Charges" [au機器代金] section.

Details such as the balance and number of payments will be displayed under "Installment Payment" [分割支払金].
- If you want to check the details of your installment contract, tap on the [?] mark, then tap on "Check here your Installment Contract" [割賦契約のご確認はこちら].
