【au ID】I would like to change my contact email address
You can change your contact email address on the au ID Membership Information site.
Please see below for detailed instructions.
Important notes when changing your email address
Please read the following important notes before changing your contact email address.

If your au ID is linked to au, povo1.0, or UQ mobile, please turn off Wi‑Fi and complete the procedure on a device connected to the 5G/4G LTE network.

If you cannot log in with your au ID because you do not receive the two-step verification code, please refer to the page below.

The following email addresses cannot be registered as "Contact Email Address 1" [連絡先メールアドレス1]. Please register them as "Contact Email Address 2" [連絡先メールアドレス2].
Email addresses already registered with a different au ID
Email addresses ending with @ezweb.ne.jp
Email addresses ending with @au.com
Also, email addresses ending with [@uqmobile.jp] cannot be registered as a contact email address.

Steps

Access the "au ID Membership Information Site" [au ID会員情報サイト].

Tap on "Log in" [ログイン].

Enter your au ID and tap on "Next" [次へ].

Enter your password, then tap on "Log in" [ログイン].

Tap on "au ID Member Information" [au ID会員情報].

Tap on "Change" [変更] for the contact email address.

Tap on "Change" [変更] next to the email address you want to change.

Enter the email address you wish to use in the future, and then tap on "Settings" [設定].
- A verification code will be sent to the email address you entered.

Enter the verification code, then tap on "Set" [設定する].

Tap on "Back" [戻る].

Tap on "Cancel" [キャンセル] to return to the Member Information screen.
This completes the change of your contact email address.
