【YouTube Premium】Tell me how to unsubscribe

If you joined YouTube Premium at an au shop or through au website, you can proceed with the cancellation through My au.

If you joined individually from Google, not from au shop or the au homepage, please check the cancellation method from the YouTube Help Center below

How to proceed with My au

Access "Entertainment (My au)"

You need to enter your au ID and password

Scroll down the page and tap "Cancellation Procedures" [退会のお手続き] for YouTube Premium.

If "Join YouTube Premium" [YouTube Premiumに入会する] is displayed, you have not joined from au

After confirming the content, tap "Agree and proceed" [同意して手続きに進む].
The procedure is now completed.

For customers using au smartphones (5G / 4G LTE) who have applied for YouTube Premium from au, you can use it for free for 3 months, but if you cancel during the free period, your membership will be automatically cancel the day before the next renewal date*.
Therefore, depending on the timing of the cancellation procedure, the free period may end in less than 3 months.
Once the cancellation is completed, we will send you a notification email from au.

Renewal date: The contract renewal date is the same day of the next month from the month following the subscription (if there is no calendar day on the same day of the following month, the last day of the following month)
