How to check

I would like to check my monthly payment method

You can check your current payment method in the "Billing Information" [ご請求関連情報] section of My au (Web).

Some information about your direct debit or credit card information may also be displayed.

Important notes

  • If you have completed the procedure to change your payment method, and your new payment method is a credit card, please wait approximately 30 minutes before trying again. If the new payment method is direct debit from a bank account, please try again the next day.
  • If you have an au contract and are using "J:COM Combined Billing", please check the following.
    • "J:COM Combined Billing" is not available for UQ mobile customers
  • If you have registered an au PAY Card and would like to check the au PAY Card payment method (revolving/installment) or the withdrawal account, please visit the au PAY Card members’ website.

Information that can be checked

For direct debit from bank account

You can check the name of the financial institution and the branch name.

For credit card payment

You can check part of the credit card information.

  • If you are unable to check your payment method as shown in the image above, please refer to the section below titled "If the payment method is not displayed" [支払方法が表示されない場合].

If the payment method is not displayed

I would like to know what to do when the payment method for my monthly usage charges is not displayed in My au or My UQ mobile (Web)

To display the current payment method on My au (Web), you need to enable the Viewing Rights for Web de Billing to "Allow" [あり] and set the display setting for credit card and bank account numbers to "Display Partially" [一部表示する].

Please see below for detailed instructions.

Important note

  • If you are the au phone line contract holder and the contract name differs from the billing name, you cannot set it up from the web.

    Please request an application form from the link below and have the person with the billing name sign and stamp the application form, then return it.

    It will take about one week to register after we receive it. After that, please proceed with operation from step 6. 

Steps

    Change the viewing rights for WEB de Billing.

  • 2

    Tap on "Change" [変更する] under "Viewing Rights" [参照権限].

    • If "Allow Viewing Rights" [参照権限あり] is displayed, proceed to step 6.
  • 3

    Tap on "Allow Viewing Rights" [参照権限あり] for all lines for which you want to add viewing rights.

    • The line you logged in with will be automatically checked with "Allow Viewing Rights" [参照権限あり].
    • If you do not need to change the settings for other lines, proceed to the next step.

    Make sure all the lines to which you want to add Viewing Rights are checked, and then tap on "Confirm changes" [変更内容の確認].

    Verify the changes, then tap on "Change" [変更する].

    The Viewing Rights settings are now complete. Please wait up to 30 minutes for the change to be reflected.

    Next, let’s change the display settings.

    Tap on "Change" [変更する] for the "Display Settings for Credit Card or Bank Account Information" [クレジットカード・口座情報の表示設定] .

    • If "Display Partially" [一部表示する] is shown under display settings, no changes are required.

    Tap on "Display Partially" [一部表示する] in the display settings.

    Tap on "Confirm changes" [変更内容の確認].

    Tap on "Change" [変更する].

  • 10

    The display settings have now been updated.
