Select “au ID 設定 (Set up an au ID)” from your application list.

Models released before March 2012 do not have applications, so instead select “設定 (Settings)” → “au one ID 設定 (Set up an au one ID)”. |
When “パケット通信料が発生します。接続しますか? (Packet communication fee will be charged. Do you want to connect your line?)” is displayed, tap “OK”.

The au ID in your au device is displayed.
If you have forgotten your au ID password, select “パスワードを忘れてしまった (I forgot my password )” “パスワードを再設定する (Reset my password)” and follow steps 4 and 5 below.
Enter your “暗証番号 (PIN number)”, and tap “OK”.

Your PIN (Personal Identification Number) is a 4-digit number chosen when you signed your contract. If you do not know your PIN, please check a copy of the application from when you signed your contract. |
Enter your new au ID password and tap “設定 (Settings)”. (*Your password must be 8 to 32 one-byte letters and numbers in length)

An error will occur if you enter a series of digits in the format of a date or enter the same number several times in a row. |

*You must use both one-byte letters and numbers. *Symbols are not required, but using symbols in combination with letters and numbers will make your password stronger. |
