Bang & Olufsen is a high-end audio-visual brand established in Denmark in 1925.
As a guiding principle, Bang & Olufsen strives to move customers with enduring magical experiences, and the company has earned a strong reputation as a brand that creates high-quality products that look and sound great.
Bang & Olufsen created B&O PLAY as a brand that is focused on casual use products.
The isai Beat was developed in collaboration with B&O PLAY to provide enhanced audio features. The device embodies the philosophy of B&O PLAY acoustic engineers, which is focused on achieving sound that is faithful to the original, and it offers the user a natural and balanced high-quality audio experience.
The isai Beat is equipped with the ES9218 SABRE HiFi System on Chip (SOC) developed by ESS Technology. In addition to the 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, which incorporates four DACs, the SOC integrates a 2VRMS headphone amp and analog volume control (AVC), and eliminates noise and distortion to deliver sound that is close to the original source. The isai Beat can provide an immersive sound experience with a level of realism and clarity that gives you the sense of listening to a live performance.
The 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC incorporates four DACs that determine the digital audio quality, which perform digital-to-analog conversion in parallel. Compared to a single DAC configuration, the noise generated at conversion is reduced by up to 50%*2, resulting in improved quality. In addition, with support for up to 384 kHz/32-bit PCM and DSD 512, the isai Beat can play back high-quality audio sources that contain up to 16 times more data than that of CD quality audio (44.1 kHz/16-bit). You can also enjoy high-quality sound when playing back lossy compression files and low-resolution audio sources, by upscaling them to as high as 384 kHz. Furthermore, the audio output settings are automatically optimized for the connected earphones, and the 75-step volume control allows for fine adjustment of the sound level.
In addition to supporting the playback of formats used by many audio distribution websites, such as FLAC, ALAC, WAV, and AIFF, the isai Beat also supports playback of higher-quality DSD files. The DSD format, which contains nearly as much audio data as the original sound, is attracting attention as a new trend in Hi-Res Audio.
The isai Beat achieves high-quality sound, even when using standard earphones. The sound quality is sure to satisfy the demands of users ranging from complete novices to serious audiophiles. You no longer need to carry around a music player separately from your smartphone. Simply connect your earphones to the isai Beat and unleash the freedom and comfort of your new digital music lifestyle, and start enjoying the high-quality sound of your favorite music wherever and whenever you want.
Tomita Lab (Keiichi Tomita)
The natural, high-quality sound of the isai Beat is actually a very difficult and expensive feat to achieve. The natural, detailed, authentic sound does not stress your ears, even when listening for a long period of time. Once you grow accustomed to this high-quality sound, you may never be able to go back.
Sound is three-dimensional, and it can convey even small details like the facial expressions of the performer. For people who usually do not pay much attention to acoustics or sound quality, the isai Beat may put you on the road to becoming an audiophile. If you listen to this sound regularly, I think you can train your ears to be more discerning.
Featuring dual rear cameras, the isai Beat is equipped with a 16-megapixel F1.8 standard-angle lens camera and an 8-megapixel 135° wide-angle lens camera. For novice photographers, the bright F1.8 lens camera makes it easy to capture beautiful images. The 135° wide-angle lens camera, which captures a wider view than human vision, is useful when taking pictures of large groups of people or expansive landscapes.
The actual voice sound quality may vary depending on the communication environment and network traffic conditions.
