How to use Prepaid Services
Prepaid services are very easy to use. All you have to do is buy a prepaid phone and prepaid card and register for usage start-up. And if you want to continue using prepaid services, just register each new prepaid card. You can also check the registered balance and remaining usage days.
- You will not be charged a communications charge if you dial 1400 or 1407
How to register
If you are using this service for the first time, first you register for usage start-up.
Follow these same instructions when registering additional prepaid cards.

Dial
on your prepaid phone. -

Following the voice guidance, dial (card registration).

Next, dial the 16 digit card number on the back of the prepaid card, and then press
at the end.

This completes registration of usage start-up. Your balance and remaining usage days are announced after registration is completed.
- If you enter in a wrong digit, press the * button to re-enter the information.
- Please be aware that if you enter incorrect information several times, you may not be able to use this service.
- Please be aware that if you register for usage start-up late at night or register a card late at night during the card re-registration period, it might take some time before you can receive calls.
How to check registered balance and remaining usage days

Your registered balance and the remaining usage days at the time at which the check is performed are announced.
How to select voice guidance in a foreign language
You can select voice guidance in a foreign language.
If you do not select a foreign language, all voice guidance will be in Japanese.
